BadBitchCosmetics swatches and review

I found BadBitchCosmetics years ago on Etsy before I had even begun exploring or hearing about indie companies. I ordered two shades from them, and loved them, but never ordered from them again until recently. They have fantastic shades ranging from metallic and neon. All of the jars came with a sticker around it with the name and ingredients, but they also had the name on the bottom of the container. The colors are based off of women that the owner finds influential, or bad bitches. I purchased on January 23rd, it was shipped out on the 26th, and received it the 31st. The only time I contacted the owner was to find out when the shop re-opened, she was very friendly and professional! All swatches are on bare skin with no primer

Nana:
Nana is a beautiful dark dark gray/blue with red glitter in it (you can see a little in the picture of the sifter) It goes on beautifully and blends out, perfect for liner of to darken up a crease a little to shift to an edgier of night look. When you blend it out, the glitter doesn't appear anymore, but would show up really well against a glitter glue like Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy. I ended up mixing this with my Inglot Duraline to create a liquid liner for the look posted later at the end of this post.

Hotaru:
Hotaru is a great metallic purple shade. It has a bit of a grey under shade to it, but that seems to help bring out the beauty of the color. This color is great for all over the lid, or an accent color in the inner corner of the eye, or as a bottom smokey liner. It blends very well, and the metallic shimmer stays with it when it blends.

Medusa:
Medusa is a beautiful metallic green. When spread out it appears more as a mossy gold color. It has a beautiful shine to it, and works great as a base color or to add a little shimmer to a look. It also blends very well, and the metallic shimmer stays with it when it blends.

Lil Kim:
Lil Kim is an awesome bright purple, very matte and blends very well, but stays true to the color. This color works great for a little pop of color and also for an all over bright eyeshadow look. This is definitely a color I would wear everyday, but I'm kinda a bright colors person anyway.

Onika:
Holy bright pink, batman! This color is labeled as Not Safe For Eyes due to FDA regulations, but I'm a risk taker and put it on my eyes anyway. The site has this listed as a blush, but it comes in the smaller containers, and also has a warning on the listing and on the jar. This color is also very matte, and blends well. It's not as bright on the skin as it is in the jar, but it's still pretty bright!

Trina and B-Kiddo:
These are both fantastic shades that I got when I first ordered a few years ago, and I still have them. I haven't noticed anything weird about them, even though they have been sitting in my drawer quite a bit. Trina is a beautiful super duper metallic, as you can tell from the picture. I've never run across a shadow quit like it. It goes on amazing and stays bright and shimmery all day. B-Kiddo is a great light but bright green. Has a lot of shimmer to it, so make sure you tap out your brush before apply it, it's fantastic.

Wearing Onika, Lil Kim, Hotaru,Trina, and Nana on the eyes. Holika Holika petit clearing bb cream, Fyrinnae's Bollywood secrets, and Coastal Scents blush on the face. Life's Entropy Brow Theory in Light Brown and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara and OCC liptar in Pretty Boy.

Battle Of the Liquid Lipsticks.

I've gotten some new liquid lipsticks recently, and I'd thought I'd give you guys a bit of a comparison. I was trying to do 2 of each brand, but I have somehow lost my other Sephora Lipstain and all of my OCC Liptars in my room. In the picture above, I have:
Kat Von D in A-Go-Go and Vampira,
Anastasia Beverly Hills in Heathers and Sad Girl,
Fyrinnae in Desire and Sinister,
Rimmel in 206 Atomic Rose and 307 Meteoric Matte,
Wet N Wild in 924A Click on my HyperPink and 932A I Can Bare It,
Nyx in Transylvania and Istanbul,
Fyrinnae Lip Lustre in Ghostly Voice and Burrowing Owl,
Sephora Cream Lipstain #10,
OCC Liptar in Hoochie (previously put in a mini lipgloss container for easy use),
Jcat Wonder Lip Paint in Pishslaver and Red Potion,
Life's Entropy in Tundra (LE) and Matrix,
and two unnamed colors from Forever 21.

bare lips

A-go-go, showing up red for some reason

Vampira
KAT VON D
I have to start out with my constant love. I have the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks in several different colors. I like how pigmented they are, and they were some of the first liquid lipsticks I was able to find that wasnt only in light pinks, nudes, and reds. The first color I ever bought was A-go-go, and it's the most beautiful orange I could ever ask for. Goes on my lips similar to the tube. Vampira is a beautiful dark red-brown shade, I love wearing it around for everyday activities, it goes on much lighter than the tube, but can be built up. These liquid lipsticks have a slightly sweet scent to it, but nothing overwhelming. I can wear these colors all day with minimal touch up (usually only after eating greasy food) and they have little to no transfer on me. They dry into a matte, but if you put too much on, it may leave your lips feeling slightly tacky. Very Pigmented

Heathers

Sad Girl
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS
ABH formula feels very similar to KVD's, but a little creamier. I got Heathers and Sad Girl, and I was kinda disappointed in Sad Girl. The site showed it as this beautiful dark purple with sparkles on it, but it kinda just comes off a little fuchsia-ey. Heathers is beautiful, and though is not exactly as it appears on the site, it's pretty close. The formula lasted me all night at the bar, but I haven't gotten to test it's ability against the dreaded pizza yet. Very Pigmented

Desire

Sinister
FYRINNAE LIQUID MATTES
These are incredible! Not only is it fantastic that they have some cool colors, they have two reds, two blues, two purples, and an orange, but the lipstick itself is out of this world. I was going to try and add a gif of what the stuff looks like in the tube, but I couldn't get a good one. It's very liquid, which threw me off guard at first. Most of the liquid lipsticks I've come across are more like a cream that dries to your lip, but this is super liquidy and dries faster than any of the others I have tried. Desire is a little patchy since it's so dark, but it's pretty easy to layer, but it's a great dark purple lipstick that anybody who has pined after Kat Von D's Homegirl or Nars Train Bleu should give a try. Sinister is a beautiful shiny metallic blue, I did notice a little bit of a blue transfer, but it's barely noticeable. These are for the most part very pigmented, but some of the darker shades may need another layer.

206 Atomic Rose

307 Meteoric Matte
RIMMEL SHOW-OFF LIP VELVET
These are really nice and smooth, they don't have as much staying power as some of my favorites, but they also aren't as drying as the ones with longer staying power. I grabbed these up on a whim when I was at Kmart the other day, and they are pretty pigmented! I think they have a slightly better staying power than the Nyx soft matte lipcreams, but don't have as much of a scent. Atomic Rose actually matches my lipcolor pretty well, but can get a little patchy at times. Meteoric Matte is a beautiful color that I love wearing alllll the time. Very Pigmented

Click on my HyperPink

I Can Bare It
WET N WILD MEGALAST
These leave a really tacky feeling to the lip, and never feel like they completely dry, but they're still a really good deal for the price! They have really great staying power, and have lasted me through drinks. I love the name Click On My HyperPink, Wet N Wild always have clever names, but this color really doesn't look that great on me. I Can Bare It is a really nice neutral shade, and has a bit of an orange tint to it. Pretty pigmented, can get a little streaky.

Transylvania

Istanbul
NYX SOFT MATTE LIPCREAM
I love how these lipsticks feel, they're soft, they're matte, and they don't terribly dry out my lips, but they do not have very good staying power, and have the tendency to be a little streaky. They do have vanilla smell to them. Transylvania is a beautiful dark purple, that when lightly put on your lips can give off a nice dark purple red shade. Istanbul is just slightly pinkier than my normal lips. Pretty Pigmented, can get a little streaky.

Ghostly Voice

Burrowing Owl
FYRINNAE LIP LUSTRES
Though their Liquid Mattes where very liquid, these are quite the opposite. They come out of the tube on a doe foot applicator, and it's creamy, but much more solid than the rest of the cream ones I've tried. Ghostly Voice is almost just a shimmer over my lip, it's very beautiful, but I wish it was slightly more pigmented on me. Burrowing Owl is a beautiful bright shiny purple on me, and I love how it goes on. These all have a pretty good staying power, but don't long against greasy foods. Slightly Pigmented

#10
SEPHORA CREAM LIPSTAIN
I have two of these lipstains, and I love them! I wasn't able to find the other to swatch it, but I'm very excited to get my hands on the new shades when they come to my local Sephora. They have a similar texture to Kat Von D, but they do have a bit more of a scent to them. #10 is a beautiful basic red that I love to wear whenever I want a classic red. These are very pigmented and have great staying power.

Hoochie
OCC LIPTAR
I'm personally not that big of a liptar fan, the first one I ever bought I ended up returning, because it feathered and dried my lips, but they must have updated their formula or something, because I haven't had the feathering problem on the recent ones I got. I also have several shades of these, but couldn't locate them (My favorite is Technopagan, I'll need to find it). Hoochie is a really great purple, but they never really dry on me. Maybe I'm putting it on wrong. Must research later. They have great pigmentation, but not so great staying power.

Pishslaver

Red Potion
JCAT WONDER LIP PAINT
These are really great for the price, but the pigmentation is really hit or miss with the different colors. They don't really dry that well, but they are comfortable on the lips. Pishslaver is a mint green, not that you can tell from the swatch. It doesn't have that great pigmentation. Red Potion is beautiful, but appears much darker in the container than it does on the lips. These don't have that great of staying power.

Tundra

Matrix
LIFE'S ENTROPY LIP THEORIES
I love these! They have great pigmentation, they aren't drying, and they apply well, I only wish they had better staying power. Tundra was a LE shade that was a collaboration with Hello Waffle, and it's a really pretty orangey pink shade. Matrix was the defining shade that I knew I had to try, because a good green lipstick is difficult to find.

LOVE AND BEAUTY BY FOREVER 21 ULTRA PIGMENTED LIP COLOR
Forever 21's lip colors is much like some of their other make up, either really awesome or really lame. The top shade was supposed to be a pinky purple, but wasn't very pigmented. The bottom shade is a really pretty red that I love on my face, but neither of these dried to the lips, so they're kinda more like a very pigmented lipgloss.

Review of Haus of Gloi!

So I finally broke down and ordered from Haus of Gloi, I've always been nervous to order scents and such online, because, well, you cant really look up swatches. Anyway, on to the review!

MADCAP GARDEN PERFUME OIL
"A lively blend of pure black tea chilled with peppermint and the tiniest spike of sweet honey. Very unisex, stimulating, addictive, and bright."

This scent is really awesome, I love it. It almost smells like the Mint Julips lip scrub from Lush. It's perfect to keep in my purse to ensure I smell good all day.

HOLY INCENSE BUTTER BOMB
"Toss these little scoops in hot bath water for a fizzy, slightly foamy and decadently moisturizing bath. Crumble under running bath water for best results! Please be cautious when moving around or standing in the tub, these little bombs can make things slippery!"

I wish this scent came in more different things, I would die for this scent in a hair oil, it's seriously amazing, and I'm very upset that it's only a Yule LE item. It smells like incense and it feels like home. Turned my bath water a blue color and made my skin feel really awesome and soft

COZY SWEATER SOFT BUBBLING SCRUB
"Pale skin musk, faded perfume, Egyptian amber, softly burning nag champa incense and a fine aged vanilla."

I don't know how they did it, but they did it. This smells just like what you would imagine a cozy sweater would smell like. The bubbling scrub is pretty cool, next time I might just go with the sugar scrub, cause I prefer grittier scrubs, but it is a "soft" bubbling scrub, so if that's what you're looking for, it's perfect!

MOON DOG SUGAR EXFOLIANT
"Pure cracked coconut, dry sandalwood essence, heated with nutmeg and clove."
This stuff is awesome, makes skin super smooth and takes away the dead skin. This scent smells just like these cookie candy things my Oma brings up every time she visits called Dominos. The have a layer of gingerbread, a layer of this jelly stuff, and a layer of marzipan coated in dark chocolate, and now I really want some. Regardless of my cravings, this scent is amazing, and I will be buying more things from this in this scent in the future.

SATYR HAIR OIL
"Italian blood orange drizzled with a blackened vanilla."
I saved my favorite for last. This hair oil IS AMAZING. But seriously, I want to bathe in it. I was so excited when I first got it, I put it in my dry hair, which normally when I put oil in my dry hair, it turns into an oily mess. This made my hair so soft, I had just dyed my hair, so it was feeling really gross and dry, and I could not stop touching my hair all night. The scent is fantastic as well, it smells really citrusy and first, but when it's on your hair for awhile, it's just this beautiful warm scent. I went to the bar that night and constantly made people smell my hair.

SERVICE
I had a few things wrong in my order, but when I sent them an email, they immediately corrected it. Fantastic service with fantastic people. Check out their products at hausofgloi.com
